Dec 2021. Saturday 11th December and we visited the coastal town of Las Galletas which is situated on the southern point of the Island. The Town has two beaches, this one and Charco del Baño both separated by the Marina, Marina del Sur. Standing facing the Marina this beach is on the right hand side. Starting at the Marina, this is a kidney.

Las Galletas is a fishing village in the borough of Arona. There are two turnoffs from the main motorway, TF-1, one near Los Cristianos via Guaza and the other near the Southern airport. It has a black sand and pebble beach by the fishing harbour, with a sea front promenade. The Yellow Submarine is based at this harbour.
